Samsung Galaxy Note in Australia

The Samsung Galaxy Note series is of high-end Android-based smartphones developed and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The line is primarily oriented toward pen computing as opposed to the Samsung S series; all Galaxy Note models ship with a stylus pen and incorporate a pressure-sensitive Wacom digitizer. All Galaxy Note models also include software features that are oriented towards the stylus and the devices' large screens, such as note-taking and digital scrapbooking apps and split-screen multitasking. The Galaxy Note smartphones have been considered the first commercially successful examples of "phablets"—a class of smartphones with large screens that are intended to straddle the functionality of a traditional tablet with that of a phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 1 was released in 2012 and it was an instant success. Samsung gambled with a big screen (5.3 inches) at a time when small screen (sub 4.5 inches) smartphones were the norm. With this additional space, Samsung was also able to cram in a larger battery for a longer-lasting daily experience which contributed to its initial success. At the time, this big-screen phone category better known as a "phablet" was non-existent and thus Samsung became the pioneer in developing and pushing this category to its limits.

The Note series came with a digital pen as well for easy note-taking on your phone in your own handwriting. This was in stark contrast to the older generation (pre-2008) of smartphones that used a stylus and those Steve Jobs famously mocked at the launch of the first iPhone.

Looking at the Evolution of Samsung Galaxy from Note 1 to Note 20

Samsung Galaxy Note kick-started the trend of large screens, it is the first phone to introduce the term Phablet in 2011. The phones grew in size as the series started the evolution from note 1 to note 20. Now they are no longer devices, but these phones have their charisma and beauty. They became the standard for larger screen devices. Let's see the growth of the Samsung note series from note 1 to note 20.

Samsung Note 1

In the year 2011, in September, note 1 launched as a Phablet used for both the terms phone and tablet. This was the first phone offering a stylus pen with a large AMOLED display of 5.3 inches. The resolution was pixels of 800 x 1280, and the density of pixels was 285ppi. The processor of this first device was a dual-core Samsung Exynos 4 chipset clocking at 1.4 GHz. It had a RAM of 1 GB, which was okay to use at that time and a battery of 2500 mAh. It was not able to deliver a better quality of call and camera. Even though criticized at first, it later became a hit and turned into a godfather of note series.

Samsung Note 2

After the first galaxy note became a hit, the next phone galaxy notes 2 came about in the year 2012. This phone was updated in every kind of aspect of design and specifications. It had an AMOLED display of 5.5 inches with pixels of 720 x 1280 resolution. It also had a processor of quad-core Exynos 4412 purring at 1.6 GHz. The RAM it had was 2GB, which made sure that this device was a multitasking phone. The capacity of the battery was 3100 mAh the company made sure it has the best life of the battery. This was made perfect in the regions where note 1 was lacking. The camera could take outstanding images, call quality was amazing, and with stylus pen enhancement, it also became a successful device.

Samsung Note 3

Launched with the new design of faux leather stitching of the back cover, and it came in two variations. One is the LTE enabled one of a quad-core processor of 2.3 GHz snapdragon 800 SoC. And the other one is 3Gone with octa-core Exynos 5 octa buzzing at 1.9 GHz. This flagship phablet offered the AMOLED display of 5.7 inches with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution offering the pixel density of 386 PPI. The camera of 13 Megapixels at the back could shoot the video up to 4k, and there was a battery of 3200 mAh. The RAM of 3GB enhanced the capabilities of multitasking with the stylus pen. In the same year of 2013, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo was also released along with note 3.

Samsung Note 4

The Samsung galaxy note 4 was the initial device that was accessible with the AMOLED display of Quad HD. It also came with a metal frame compared to note 3. It was perfectly modelled in the department of hardware. It is a powerful handset running on a snapdragon 805 SoC processor buzzing at 2.7 GHz. It will perform any task with the other variations of the 1.9 GHz chipset of octa-core Exynos 5433. It has a RAM of 3GB similar to note 3 with the capabilities of multitasking. This proved to be the phablet, which was a commendable phone offering a better camera. Another note edge came with the side screen in the same year 2014, same as note 4.

Samsung Note 5

It was made with the extraordinary design of glass metal, yet there is no support of the micro SD card, and the battery was not removable. It has a RAM of 4 GB with a stylus pen with an updated version. On the side of software, many highlights came about with a clickable mechanism of ejecting of S pen.

Samsung Note 7

The Samsung galaxy note 7 became a device that the company wants to eliminate from the past. It came with the batteries that were faulty ones which could easily damage. Many of the users gave complaints, and this was struck from the Smartphone market. Its design, curved at the edges with an AMOLED display, which offered the best screen to read. It also had an Iris scanner with a screen at the edge. It had an internal memory of 64 GB and came with the improved highlights of the Stylus pen.

Samsung Note 8

The device, galaxy note 8, was a brave restart after the failure of note 7. This phone was rigorously scrutinized for the security of the battery, its highlights, metal design, and its sleek glass. The technologies incorporate a bigger display of the screen, a telephoto camera, and extra memory space. The telephoto camera introduced to take the pictures of portraits with the mode of live focus, which blurs the background of an image to exactly give a clear picture.

Samsung Note 9

This came with a larger battery of about 4000 mAh for elevating the series of note to the full-day status of battery life. Powered by the chipset of Snapdragon 845 and has a RAM of 6GB. It has an internal storage of 128 GB, and the cost of note 9 is about a thousand dollars. The stylus pen highlighted with the support of Bluetooth LE. You can utilize the S pen as the wireless controller. You can simply snap the pictures by clicking the stylus pen and move through the presentation of a slideshow and handle the playback of media.

Samsung Note 10

In the year 2019, the Samsung Note 10 got released along with Note 10+. The note 10 has a quite smaller display with little size stylus pen than the note 10+. Note 10 delivers the best design device and display elasticized all over to the edge with a punch hole present at the top. The bezels are not present, and the device is thin. It comes in three colours, Aura Glow, Aura Black, and Aura Pink. It has a Snapdragon chip of 855 with identical camera arrays.

The stylus pen also comes with a new design. Many features are embedded in the pen including the ability to handle the camera.

Note 20
